Regalia is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works on any device with a browser: mobile, tablet and desktop. On iOS and Android you can install it to your home screen to use it like a native app, without going through the App Store or Google Play.

Not necessary. Access it directly from the browser at regalia-app.com. If you want, you can add it to your home screen from the browser menu for quick access.

All you need is a Google account. Tap "Get started free", sign in with Google and you're in within seconds. No forms, no passwords to remember.

Your name comes from your Google account and is used internally. In Gift Room and Secret Santa you can choose a nickname that other participants will see, independently of your real name.

You can delete your account from the settings menu inside the app. Deleting it permanently removes all your data: people, gifts, rooms and settings.

From the main screen tap the add person button. Enter their name, birthday and optionally their tastes, sizes and personal notes. That information is what the AI uses to generate personalized gift ideas.

On the free plan you receive notifications 7 days before. With Premium you can customize the number of days in advance for each person.

You can mark the date as "approximate" when adding the person. Regalia will still send you the birthday reminder even without the exact year.

Yes. You can assign categories to each person (Family, Friends, etc.). With the free plan you have access to the predefined categories. With Premium you can create custom categories with your own colors.

Go to the person's profile and type the idea in the "Add gift idea" field. If it's a physical product, an Amazon search link is generated automatically. If it's an experience or personal plan (a dinner, a trip…), disable the "Physical product" toggle and no link will be generated.

Yes. When editing a gift you can enter your own purchase link. Regalia accepts links from an approved list of stores: Amazon, Zara, Nike, Adidas, El Corte Inglés, Sephora, Zalando and many more.

On the gift card you'll see a small checkbox on the left. Tapping it will ask for confirmation and move it to the "Gifted" tab. If you made a mistake, you can undo the action with the restore button.

Yes. Each person has a unique sharing link. Anyone with that link can see that person's gift list without needing a Regalia account, and without the recipient knowing what they're getting.

Regalia uses the information you've entered about the person (tastes, hobbies, sizes, notes) to generate personalized gift ideas. Suggestions are always physical products available on Amazon, with a generic idea name and a real brand reference so you know the product exists.

With the free plan you can generate up to 6 ideas per day (2 ideas per use, up to 3 uses). With Premium you get up to 15 ideas per day (5 ideas per use, up to 5 uses).

On purpose. The AI uses a real brand as an internal reference to ensure the product exists, but what you see as the name is the generic idea ("Wireless headphones", "Hiking backpack"). This way the Amazon link shows you a variety of real options, rather than locking you into a single model that might sell out or change price.

You can discard any suggestion and request new ideas. Each regeneration uses a different angle (more original ideas, more practical, from a different category…) to avoid repeating the same suggestions. Discarded ideas won't appear again in future generations.

The more information you add, the better the suggestions. With just a couple of hobbies or interests it already works well. You can also set a maximum budget and the AI will tailor suggestions to that range.

A Gift Room is a collaborative space where a group of people can organize a gift together. You can propose ideas, vote for favourites, set a budget per person and decide as a group what to give. It's the solution to the endless WhatsApp thread for organizing group gifts.

When you create the room a unique link is generated. Share it with whoever you want via WhatsApp, email or however you prefer. Anyone who receives the link accesses the room directly after signing in with Google and choosing a nickname.

Yes, you need to sign in with Google to participate. This ensures each idea and vote appears associated with a real name inside the room.

Yes, creating and participating in Gift Rooms is completely free. Both the organizer and participants can use this feature without needing a Premium subscription.

Yes. AI idea generation inside a Gift Room counts against your usual daily quota (6 ideas on free, 15 on Premium).

Yes, you can create and participate in multiple Gift Rooms simultaneously. From the Gift Room section you can see all the rooms where you're an organizer or participant.

The organizer creates the draw, sets the budget and event date. A unique link is generated and shared with all participants. Each person joins with their Google account, chooses a nickname and, when the organizer runs the draw, each participant can see who they've been assigned to give a gift to.

After the draw, each participant enters the room with their account and sees their assignment privately. The rest of the group can't see each other's assignments, only their own.

No. Assignments are checked directly inside the room by accessing the draw link. No emails with the assignment are sent.

Yes, the organizer can redo the draw as long as no one has viewed their assignment yet. Once any participant checks theirs, the draw is locked.

The Premium plan includes:

Yes. You can cancel your subscription whenever you want from the app settings. You'll keep Premium access until the end of the paid period.

All your data is kept. If you had more than 10 people, you'll still be able to view their profiles but won't be able to add new ones until you're back below the free limit.

Only you can see your gift lists. The only exception is if you voluntarily share a person's wish list link with someone. In that case they can only see that specific list.

No. Regalia does not sell data to third parties or show advertising of any kind. Links to stores are affiliate links that generate a small commission if you make a purchase, but they do not influence the AI suggestions.

The data you enter yourself is stored: names, birthdays, notes and gift lists. For authentication your Google account is used, from which only your email and user ID are stored. See the Privacy Policy for more details.
